Oil plays a very important role in your daily diet. It is a source of fat – and as you know, your body needs fats to produce energy. A study by the WHO in 1989, later ratified by another study by WHO and FAO experts in 2002, recommended that around 30 per cent of your daily calorie-intake should come from fats.
