This week, we bring to you Crispy Thread Paneer, a recipe by our season winner Mir Laila. Crispy Thread Paneer is a fusion of creamy paneer encased in a crunchy, spiced thread coating, offering a perfect appetizer for your next get-together.

Served with a side of tangy mint chutney or a sweet and spicy sauce, Crispy Thread Paneer is a quick and easy recipe that you can cook to impress at any gathering.

Ingredients for Crispy Thread Paneer

  • P Mark Kachi Ghani Mustard oil: 4 tbsp

  • Paneer: 250 g (cubed)

  • Oregano seasoning: 1 tbsp

  • Chilli Flakes: 1/2 tbsp

  • Peri peri Masala: 1 tbsp

  • Salt: 1 tbsp

  • Cornflour: 1 tbsp

  • Water: 1 tbsp

  • Samosa Sheets: 5

Method for Crispy Thread Paneer

  1. Combine oregano seasoning, chilli flakes, peri peri masala, salt, cornflour, and water with the paneer in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

  2. Slice the samosa sheets into thin strips resembling threads.

  3. Wrap the paneer pieces with the cut strips.

  4. Heat mustard oil in a pan.

  5. Gently deep-fry the wrapped paneer on a low flame until it turns golden and crispy.

  6. Enjoy your crispy thread paneer! Serve with mint chutney or your choice of sweet and spicy sauce.
