Women at the Heart of Our CSR Mission: Celebrating Women's Day

As we celebrate International Women's Day, it’s a moment to reflect on the incredible contributions women make to society and the ways in which we can empower them to reach their full potential. At the core of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mission lies a deep commitment to uplifting women, enabling them to become catalysts of change in their communities. Through initiatives like Ma ki Roti, the Blossom Project, and Jumpstart, we are proud to put women at the heart of our efforts, fostering empowerment, education, and equality.

1. Ma ki Roti Initiative: Nourishing Communities, Empowering Women

The Ma ki Roti initiative is a shining example of how women are central to our CSR mission. This community kitchen initiative in Bilaspur and Jammu focuses on increasing the participation of women in the formal workforce while also addressing food insecurity. By providing nutritious meals to underprivileged communities, women are empowered to take charge of the kitchen operations, gaining financial independence and a sense of purpose.

The initiative is more than just a community kitchen; it’s a platform for women to showcase their skills, build confidence, and become pillars of their communities. Through Ma ki Roti, we are not just feeding families—we are nurturing leaders.

2. Fostering Holistic Education for Girls

Education is one of the most powerful tools for empowering women, and our CSR initiative with Blossom Project and Lokuttara Leadership Academy is dedicated to ensuring that girls have access to quality education and holistic development. Through partnerships with institutions like Lokuttara Academy, we are creating an environment where young girls can learn, grow, and dream without limits.

A crucial aspect of the initiative is prioritizing personal hygiene for the students at Lokuttara. To achieve this, hygiene kits containing essentials like sanitary pads, hair oil, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap are regularly distributed. This initiative is particularly aimed at improving the retention of female students, who often face disruptions in their education during menstruation. By consistently providing these essentials, the initiative not only enhances students’ well-being but also enables them to focus better on their studies, fostering a more supportive and conducive learning environment.

Through this initiative, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. Read more about this initiative here.

3. Mission Jumpstart: Empowering Young Female Athletes

Sports have the power to transform lives, and the Mission Jumpstart initiative is dedicated to empowering young female athletes in India. Through this program, we provide training, resources, and mentorship to help girls excel in sports and break barriers in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Mission Jumpstart is not just about creating athletes; it’s about building confidence, resilience, and leadership skills in young women. By supporting their dreams, we are helping them realize their potential and inspiring future generations of women to aim high.
